Why RELX devices suits Trinidad users (v5)
RELX devices advice for Trinidad, covering palette, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
We spent weeks putting relx devices options through their paces so the recommendations here reflect real use. Delivery across Trinidad is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window.
Local availability in Trinidad shapes the practical answer more than the marketing does. Delivery across Trinidad is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window.
Charging over USB-C takes about 73 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries. Two things to check before ordering: the USB-C socket on the base and whether the 0.15 Ω dual mesh coil is the newer generation. Battery behaviour is where the Robust Pro earns its keep: the 650 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 70 and recharges over USB-C.
The standard bore mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips. Comparing this against a 65:35 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume. The 3.0 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem.
Pricing in Trinidad shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current TTD rates rather than a fixed list price. Airflow control on the Robust Pro is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank. Vapour production is more than adequate at 70, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying.
The Midnight Black finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily. Worth noting that the 510 bottom pin takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below. For portable users, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge.
What surprised us most was how little the 0.15 Ω dual mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 65:35 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. Expect roughly 1042 full puffs from a charge at 12 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Mango Tango Ice: sweet, tropical, described as ripe mango warmed by a light menthol coolness. On a 65:35 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.15 Ω dual mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Trinidad
Availability in Trinidad is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.15 Ω dual mesh and the USB-C are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 bottom pin matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and TTD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
