Daily Vapers guide to RELX devices (breakdown) (2025)
RELX devices advice for Trinidad, covering maintenance, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
The Trinidad market for relx devices has grown steadily, and the choice on offer now is genuinely broad. The build quality on Freemax Maxus is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry.
The Trinidad market for relx devices has grown steadily, and the choice on offer now is genuinely broad. Pricing in Trinidad shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current TTD rates rather than a fixed list price.
In Trinidad, availability of the 0.6 Ω mesh coil is the practical bottleneck, not the device itself. The mesh tip mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips. Comparing this against a 20:80 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume.
Airflow control on the Freemax Maxus is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank. The 5.0 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem. Expect roughly 1263 full puffs from a charge at 12 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing.
For daily vapers, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge. If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 20:80 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly.
Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help. Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 0.6 Ω mesh mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Frozen Berry Sorbet: sweet, icy, described as cold berry inhale with a soft exhale. On a 20:80 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.6 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Trinidad
Availability in Trinidad is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.6 Ω mesh and the Micro-USB are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510-X matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and TTD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
If any of the above addresses what you were trying to solve, the rest of the pages in this section cover it in more detail.
