RELX devices reviews: tested in Trinidad (2025) (v2)
RELX devices advice for Trinidad, covering replacement policy, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Anyone who has compared relx devices options in Trinidad quickly learns that specification lists only tell part of the story. We would pair the Asvape Minikit with a 50:50 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably.
The Trinidad market for relx devices has grown steadily, and the choice on offer now is genuinely broad. The build quality on Asvape Minikit is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry.
If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 50:50 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. Pricing in Trinidad shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current TTD rates rather than a fixed list price.
The Rose Quartz finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily. Worth noting that the 510 thread takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below. For portable users, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge.
Replacement coils are widely available, and the 0.2 Ω dual mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. Airflow control on the Asvape Minikit is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank.
Two things to check before ordering: the Type-C fast charge socket on the base and whether the 0.2 Ω dual mesh coil is the newer generation. Battery behaviour is where the Asvape Minikit earns its keep: the 5000 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 100 and recharges over Type-C fast charge. We would pair the Asvape Minikit with a 50:50 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Cola Zero: sweet, fizzy, described as cola sweetness with a light fizz. On a 50:50 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.2 Ω dual mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Trinidad
Availability in Trinidad is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.2 Ω dual mesh and the Type-C fast charge are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 thread matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and TTD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
If any of the above addresses what you were trying to solve, the rest of the pages in this section cover it in more detail.
