RELX devices for travel users: what works (200 W)
RELX devices advice for Trinidad, covering seasonal picks, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
We spent weeks putting relx devices options through their paces so the recommendations here reflect real use. Two things to check before ordering: the Type-C fast charge socket on the base and whether the 0.2 Ω dual mesh coil is the newer generation.
Finding the right relx devices in Trinidad is easier than most catalogues make it sound. Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 0.2 Ω dual mesh mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense.
Charging over Type-C fast charge takes about 82 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries. Two things to check before ordering: the Type-C fast charge socket on the base and whether the 0.2 Ω dual mesh coil is the newer generation. Battery behaviour is where the Hcigar Akso earns its keep: the 650 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 25 and recharges over Type-C fast charge.
The wide bore mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips. Comparing this against a 40:60 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume. The 1.6 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem.
Replacement coils are widely available, and the 0.2 Ω dual mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. What surprised us most was how little the 0.2 Ω dual mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 40:60 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber.
Pricing in Trinidad shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current TTD rates rather than a fixed list price. Airflow control on the Hcigar Akso is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank. Vapour production is more than adequate at 25, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Melon Cucumber: fresh, light, described as clean cucumber under sweet melon. On a 40:60 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.2 Ω dual mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Trinidad
Availability in Trinidad is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.2 Ω dual mesh and the Type-C fast charge are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 bottom pin matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and TTD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Our advice is to order one, use it for a fortnight, and only then decide whether to stock up.
